In celebration of Women’s Month, we’re thrilled to host a workshop honoring many women’s best friend… the ever useful SCRUNCHIE!

The first of many upcoming workshops, join us for a fun afternoon where you’ll craft, customize, and finish your own cotton scrunchie using all natural dyes from botanical materials. No sewing or dyeing knowledge is required as this workshop is beginner friendly!

Fiber artist and natural dye expert Cayetano Talavera will guide participants through utilizing natural dyes, tie-dyeing techniques, and basic hand-needle sewing as we dye and customize a pre-treated cotton scrunchie in this two-hour class. Explore colors from osage bark (orange), cochineal (pink), and marigold flowers (yellow). After dyeing, Talavera will guide through final assembly and blind-stitch finish of your scrunchie.

Each ticket includes a 7" diameter organic cotton gauze scrunchie.

Additional pre-treated scrunchies, bandanas, and socks will be available for purchase at the event for bonus dyeing.
