BEADED HAND-EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP w/ ISA GUADALUPE

In this course you will learn to embroider with glass beads by adding texture, color, and dimension to your designs. Integrating different stitches and techniques to create your own embellishment piece. We will begin by making a small circle with a few rows of different stitches with beads and from there you will be able to elaborate the piece into your own design using the techniques learned.
No previous knowledge or experience in drawing or embroidery is required, just the desire to learn.
Material kit included:
-beading needles, thread, washable fabric marker, fabric, 6-inch embroidery hoop, glass beads.

Beginner friendly, open to all levels

About Isa Guadalupe:
Isa Guadalupe Medina is a designer and artist based in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Her work focuses on the intricacy and detail that is reflected from nature and her roots, creating different motifs that are inspired by feelings that emerge from the rare beauty and constant change of nature. Medina received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Parsons The New School for Design, New York. Since then Medina has been focusing on creating hand-beaded and woven pieces that explore movement and transcendence of time in relation to the human body/experience.
